"What is the purpose of education for you?"
This is the second part of a conversation between David Schwartz, Milena Frech, Leonie Lechle und Camilla Meisterjahn with the arts teacher Jennifer Kowalewski. They continue talking about Jiddu Krishnamurti’s philosophy of education and the question how it can be put into practice in schools. Jennifer used to teach at Brockwood Park School in England – a boarding school that was founded by the Indian philosopher in 1969. She explains how young people are enabled to take responsibility for their actions at this school. Other topics she addresses are: the significance of pastoral care, healthy boundaries and critical thinking. Permission to reproduce from the works of J.
